The On Architecture team is proud to have played a key role in bringing this unique space to life. The restaurant offers exclusive “Chef’s Table” and “private dining booths” for those extraordinary events and also boasts the cities only un-interrupted public rooftop views of Canterbury Cathedral, Socialite is bound to impress!
Working with Milestone Project Consultancy and Paragon Hospitality, On Architecture was brought in to manage the interior design of the bar and restaurant, to ensure it reflected the same chic and exclusive characteristics the Socialite brand has come to be known for. This is the second “Socialite” Bar/Lounge following Paragon’s success with Socialite Brighton. They have vast experience through doing the Radio Roof Top bars in London, Milan, Ibiza.
Specifically, the ON team was responsible for the floors, walls, finishes, furniture design, bar design, furniture layout, restaurant layout and the external terrace design and layout. The project was made possible, by the expertise and professionalism of some excellent local and national suppliers; The Bar and Counters were produced immaculately by Sensible Carpentry Solutions, and the floor provided and installed by Elite Flooring. CDS Furniture produced the bespoke furniture and chairs throughout the entire rooftop bar. Lowe & Son Painting Contractors, Sean Davey Electrical and Concept Bars all played key roles in ensuring the bar appeared flawless and functioned impeccably.
The new flagship Socialite Rooftop Bar and Restaurant is open now and can be found at 7 St Margaret’s St, Canterbury, Kent CT1 2TP.
