On Architecture were asked to deliver the construction of this one off house located in the Kent countryside for a private client. The house stands near the picturesque village of Dunkirk on the ancient Roman Road, Watling Street.
The house sits in a large rural site, surrounded by trees and sits back from the road giving privacy and seclusion. The building draws its inspiration from local structures in the rural community – but uses contemporary forms to provide a modern twist. The client wished to finish the building to a luxury standard and our team worked closely with the contractors and subcontractors to ensure that the quality of detailing was maintained throughout the building to the standards required.
