This project was a restaurant with residential apartments sat above, situated in a high-density area of Bexleyheath, London.
The design complimented the street scene, with a composition of the restaurant being on the ground floor, with the apartments then set back and above, enabling them to be invisible from street level view, giving both privacy to the occupants as well as aesthetic benefit to the retail visitors.
The materials were carefully considered, with glazed green tiles referencing a traditional British pub aesthetic, in keeping with the Prince Albert Pub situated on the corner.
