On Architecture has been appointed by Thetis Holdings Ltd. to deliver a 33-home residential development on a 1.55-hectare site west of Berengrave Lane, Rainham. The scheme responds to the area’s growing housing needs with a mix of market and affordable homes, thoughtfully integrated into the existing urban fabric of Medway. Rooted in local character, the design complements the varied architectural styles along Berengrave Lane while introducing a contemporary, high-quality residential environment.
The masterplan places a strong emphasis on sustainability and landscape-led design, retaining existing green buffers and enhancing biodiversity through native planting and a landscaped green corridor. Communal open spaces, play areas, and SuDS infrastructure ensure both ecological and community benefits. The development is well-connected, with new pedestrian and cycle links, access to public transport, and provision for resident and visitor parking.
