The On team were chosen for both the planning and technical design stages of the project at Hylands Road. Main Contractor, Equans, appointed OnArchitecture as lead designers on the project, to collaborate with the wider design team to deliver a 120 unit social housing flatted scheme, with a percentage being fully M4(3) Wheelchair accessible units in Walthamstow.

Due to the proximity of the site bounded between existing two-storey development and Epping forest careful design features, detailing and materiality were required in order to provide a development that addressed the dense urban nature of the western boundary and the sensitive rural nature of the eastern boundary.
